How Investing In Poultry Farming Works
How Investing in Poultry Farming Works
Poultry farming is an exciting and flexible investment opportunity. With Sigmar Farms, investors can take part in the process from egg to fully grown chicken, with full transparency and the ability to manage their assets through our innovative app. Whether you're buying eggs to hatch, raising chickens for meat, or selling fully grown birds.
Below is how investing in poultry farming works:
Buying Eggs
Investors can start by buying eggs, either to raise chickens or to sell immediately to local markets. Eggs are often cheaper than buying live chickens, making them an attractive entry point for new investors. Each egg you purchase comes with a unique QR code that contains vital information, including:
- Date the egg was laid
- Date purchased
- Current owner and ownership history
Benefits of Buying Eggs with Sigmar
Investing in eggs through Sigmar Farms offers an exciting opportunity to enter the agricultural market at a low cost. Here are the key benefits that make investing in eggs so attractive:
- Affordable Entry Point: Eggs are typically cheaper than buying live chickens, making it easy for new investors to get started.
- Traceability: Every egg comes with a unique QR code that provides complete transparency, including the date it was laid, when it was purchased, and the ownership history.
- Flexible Investment: You can choose to raise the eggs into chickens or sell them right away in local markets, giving you control over how you grow your investment.
- Real-Time Updates: Our app keeps you informed about every stage of your investment. You’ll be notified about your egg’s progress and any updates immediately, ensuring full transparency.
- Profit Potential: As your eggs hatch and grow into chickens, you have the potential to earn significant returns when they are sold in the market.
Managing the Risks
While there are many benefits, it's also important to consider a few manageable risks:
- Eggs May Fail to Hatch: Not every egg will hatch, but we keep you informed throughout the process. In the event of a failed hatch, a loss will be recorded in your account, and we will notify you. You will need to approve this transaction, and we make sure you stay in control of your account.
- Market Fluctuations: Egg prices may change based on market demand, but you always have the flexibility to hold off on selling until the market is more favorable. If the eggs must be sold before they expire, we’ll transfer them to the next available batch, ensuring minimal loss.
- Handling Risks: While accidents are rare, eggs may break during handling. We take every precaution to ensure that eggs are handled with care, but should an accident occur, we record the loss in your account and reschedule your sale.
Birds from Day Zero to Maturity
Raising birds from eggs to fully grown chickens involves additional costs and responsibilities, but also provides greater returns. The incubation period for eggs is around 21 days, and during this time, we charge a fee to cover costs, such as electricity, which is often powered by solar energy or diesel generators, making it more affordable. The app provides a detailed breakdown of consumption statistics and costs for each bird.
Regardless of whether you buy an egg, a chick, a pullet, or a fully grown bird, the asset belongs to you, and you have the flexibility to sell it at any stage. Each week, you’ll receive an invoice that includes the costs for maintaining your asset, which you are required to pay within 7 days.
Important Payment Terms
- If payment is not received on time, you’ll receive a warning, and you'll have an additional 14 days to clear your balance.
- If your outstanding debt equals the amount of your initial purchase, your asset will be frozen and transferred to the Sigmar pool after 7 days. Your account will also be flagged.
- A "flag 1" status means you are banned from using the Sigmar app, limiting your ability to make future investments.
Selling Your Assets
When selling your birds, any outstanding fees must be cleared before the asset can be transferred to the new buyer. Eggs will have your QR code information printed on them, while live birds will be tagged with RFID technology, carrying your details. When you transfer ownership, the RFID information is updated, ensuring traceability. Tags are removed when the bird is sold in the market.
As an investor, you have the flexibility to sell your birds as a whole or in pieces, depending on what you believe will bring you the most profit. Whether you're selling within your country or globally, our app keeps you informed of the latest market updates, helping you make the best decisions for your assets.
Diversifying Your Investments
Sigmar Farms offers the flexibility to diversify your portfolio by investing in both eggs and chickens at various stages of growth. Additionally, our expansion into different countries allows you to take advantage of varying market conditions, further enhancing your potential returns.
